About the Project
It is a registered historical monument located on Oteller Sokak in the Basmane Region.
It consists of a basement and two floors above. The parcel area is 219 m², the gross construction area is approximately 390 m², and the garden area is 60 m².
The building was used as a hotel until recently. It was completely damaged in a fire. It was rented for long time by TARKEM from the İzmir Foundations Regional Directorate in return for restoration.
The architectural projects were drawn by Architect Didem Kıncı Enser.
The building will be designed as a hostel. The architectural structure and historical texture of the building will be preserved in order to ensure that tourists visiting the region receive quality accommodation services at affordable prices.
The Basmane Region is located on 1296th Street, known as Street of Hotels.
There will be wet areas in the basement, and the volumes on the ground floor and first floors will be designed as rooms. The period additions in the courtyard will be used for accommodation and wet area needs, and the courtyard will be arranged as a recreation area.
