About the Project
The structure is located in the Kestelli District, at the corner where Kestelli Street intersects with Eşrefpaşa Street.
The historical İstiklal School was rented from Konak Municipality; a grant support was received from İzmir Development Agency for its restoration and functionality. TARKEM is a partner in this property rented by Our City İzmir Association.
The historical İstiklal School, whose restoration projects were prepared and approved by Konak Municipality, has been functionalized as an Innovative Learning Center. In the center, education is provided under the leadership of science and learning, especially for children and young people. Astronomy, aviation, mathematics, history, robotics, coding, etc. education will be given in the form of workshops and the curriculum is carried out by expert trainers.
